This week is celebrating the great work of the Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly, a compilation that celebrates new music. In his own words, creator Levi Fuller describes Ball of Wax as 'a way to get great music out there that might have just languished on MySpace, to bring bands and people together, and to have fun.'

Now on its 14th release (that means its, 14 x3 = 42 months, errr 42/12 = 3.5 years, third and a half year), Ball of Wax went public with a CD release show in Seattle last night (6th November), bringing bands and people together once more.

Levi sometimes drops in a theme to the compilation, 13 being all cussing, 8 being no words for example. I believe the new release is barebones acoustic. As well as being a musician himself, Mr Fuller also plays tunes on the amazing Hollow Earth Radio. Listen in and enjoy.
